[Editor}WHAT AM I THAT GOD IS MINDFUL OF ME?
For we saints it is incredible, yeah, mind-boggling, that we are allowed to be the messengers of Christ. This is no small honor. The commission of calling men to Christ by preaching the gospel of his kingdom is a high and holy one. To be chosen to bear the news of the Savior to a ruined race is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon sinful mortals. That the Lord would utilize the use of us is nothing short of miraculous.
A human creature; made a little lower than the angles, unmistakably, well deserving of the fires of hell because of our iniquity, should be saved from this everlasting punishment by our God who HIMSELF became flesh, A LITTLE LOWER THAT THE ANGLES. (Heb 2:6; 2:9) and paid that punishment for us in the form of Jesus, the Christ
WHY? I ask. WHY? Tell me Lord, what did I ever do to deserve loving you? What have I ever done, to deserve even one, of the blessings you’ve shown?
WHY all this?
Job 7:17 What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him?
Ps 8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Ps 144:3 LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!
Heb 2:6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
You say, John 3:16? Yes, but WHY. Why not “God so loved heaven and the fallen angles”?
I ask with the Palmists again. What is man, that thou art mindful of him?
I don’t know about you, but it makes ME grateful. GREATFUL and FEARFUL.
Ps 66:16 Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.
He hath saved me from my sins and made me a messenger of Christ, His only begotten Son, saving me? GRATITUDE. Putting me to work for Him in a small way”? MIND-BOGGLING.
He hath saved me and my house. (wife & three children). He created in my heart a love for the wife of my youth, as Christ loved the Church.
I have always loved her, but never like THAT.
He took an old man of unclean lips and made him a “more pleasant to live with” old man. He created in my heart a burden to study His Word and to share that knowledge with others. He CAUSED all this. His Spirit hath begotten me, the same as it had begotten Jesus Christ. I have become BORN AGAIN.
I DIED. You know that? I died to Sin AND the Law, and I have risen with Christ. (Col 3:1) I am a NEW CREATURE. ME, MYSELF and I, have become GOD, FAMILY and OTHERS. How ‘bought that? ALL THINGS are possible with God. (Matt 19:26)
Eccl 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

A Note/Poem-Written in 1981
A note written by me, Andy Neckar, in early 1981. I took my last drink Oct 21 1981.
I found the note on a piece of paper in with a bunch of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) 30-day sobriety chips.
I just thought I would send it out. I was trying HARD to stop drinking for the past three years and then, one day, going about my business as usual, AA took hold.
I was ashamed of myself, and I knew I was not worthy of my family. Mon would go into the room I was in, and I would go into another. I was ashamed to be in the same room with her.
I checked myself into a place called “Souls Harbor”. They had AA meetings nightly and a Protestant minister come out each Sunday. I was Roman Catholic until 1991.
After a few weeks they put me on a work detail and the thought hit me that if I could work for them, why couldn’t I work to support my family? (Wife & three kids) This was early 1981. I came back home, got a job (good paying) and sobered up soon after.
I remember her telling me that year, “Andy, your children are growing up all around you, and if you don’t sober up pretty soon, you’re gonna miss out on all of it”
Anyway here is the poem I found recently. A lot of water under the bridge since then, and Jesus the Christ in my heart and on my mind, with the Spirit influencing my behavior.
GOD is good.
It all seems so hopeless
Your bills are all past due
Your family’s getting tired
Of putting up with you.
And even though you love them
As you know love to be
Your selfish mind keeps telling you
What can I do for me
Momma’s holding things together
As best as she can do
She’s bringing up the children
Without any help from you.
There were some precious moments
But somehow I can’t recall
It’s a hopeless situation
Brought on by alcohol.
Andrew Neckar, they’re calling your name
They’re gonna get you, you’re to blame
They see through the stories that you tell so fine
They’re gonna gets you this time.
Ten years later (1991) I came to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
IT IS NEVER RIGHT TO DO WRONG TO DO RIGHT
Newsweek is boldly promoting what a consistent pro-lifer has to call murder. If life begins at conception, there is no debate for the pro-life side about most forms of stem-cell research. Anything that causes the death of a human embryo, no matter how great the apparent benefit to others, violates one of the most basic of God’s commands: Thou shalt not kill. A recent Newsweek article disagrees, proclaiming that “we would be closer” to realizing the “miraculous potential” of stem-cell treatments if only President Bush had not limited stem-cell research due to ethical concerns. The author of the article says mankind should “never let anyone stop us from one of the most towering medical achievements in history.” (10/12/04)
TAX EXEMPT-GOVERNMENT RULED
The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to hear the appeal of a religious charity that is being forced to pay for contraceptives. In March, the California Supreme Court required Catholic Charities of Sacramento to comply with a state law telling non-religious employers to provide birth control for employees. The Catholic Church prohibits the use of contraceptives, and Catholic Charities argued that it was a religious employer exempt from this particular state law. The state argued that Catholic Charities did not meet the criteria for a “religious organization,” namely an employer that 1) inculcates religious values, 2) primarily employs people of the same beliefs, 3) primarily serves people of the same beliefs, and 4) is organized as a non-profit. Christianity Today’s Weblog (10/05/04) points out that criterion #3 is dangerous, while pro-life groups are worried about what the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision may portend: “California is just one court case away from requiring employers, even churches, to cover abortions in their health-insurance policies,” said Jan Carroll of the California Pro-Life Council.
WORLD TURNING CHURCH UPSIDE DOWN-(in contrast to Acts 17:16)
Segments of the Christian church are conforming to the world, says the New York Times. The incursion of Christian hip-hop music into the church has not necessarily been smooth. A prominent liberal pastor in New York City even ran a steamroller over a collection of rap CDs in the early 1990s. But “instead of meeting in the middle,” says the Times, both the church and Christian hip-hop are now “adapting to the rougher norms of commercial rap.” A youth pastor in Chicago explains the philosophy: “For this generation,” he says, “the only way to make the Gospel relevant to them is through hip-hop. In my neighborhood we don’t need another church on Sunday morning. We need something to speak to young people.” (9/13/04)
AGREEING TO DISAGREE
Many professing Christians in the Western world are agreeing to disagree about homosexuality, despite what God says about the practice. “Our unity in Christ does not depend on unanimity of opinion,” say United Methodist leaders. “All contradictions and paradoxes and seemingly irreconcilable truths—which seem both consistent and inconsistent with Scripture—are brought together in the larger and all-embracing truth of Christ,” says the leader of American Anglicanism. An article in Christianity Today (10/8/04) tries to explain the theology underlying these two quotations. The author calls it the “ecstatic” perspective. This perspective, prevalent both in religion and in academia, “claims that God can only be known in a feeling, in ways that transcend (go beyond) the language of God or about God.” A lengthy quotation is worthwhile: Many professing Christians in the Western world are agreeing to disagree about homosexuality, despite what God says about the practice.
A lengthy quotation is worthwhile: “Ecstatics do not believe that specific biblical commands were literally uttered by God. Rather, biblical people had a mystical sense of divine obligation that they expressed in the thought forms of their day. Since these thought forms are constantly changing, the ethical sense takes new forms under new circumstances. As a result, ethics changes as culture changes .…
“Since the revisionists ‘honor’ Scripture and tradition, they can worship, study, pray, teach, and promote their agenda shoulder to shoulder with the orthodox while holding utterly different conceptions of the faith. Conflict only arises when the church must deal with concrete issues such as revision of our language for God, sexual norms, evangelism to those of other faiths, or who is welcome to take Communion.
[Editor] This debate is let by the UMC of course. It comes as no surprise. It just makes me mad as hell. There can be no transcend or going beyond the Word of God. All we know of, or about Him, in found in His Word preserved in a BOOK.
Ethics-- Some synonyms for ethics are “principles, morals, beliefs, moral values, doctrine. Culture changes, but Jesus Christ NEVER changes. . (Heb 13:8)
The Word of God abides FOREVER. (Matt 24:35)
Unit in Christ consists of a COMMON Faith (Titus 1:4) that results in a COMMON salvation (Jude 1:3
STEPPING STONES---TOLERANCE - COMPROMISE –COLLABORATE-UNITY
A columnist at a pro-gay website is afraid of what he calls “the ongoing fundamentalist-Christianization of America.” He writes, “Just because I rarely encounter these people and they do not directly impact my life doesn’t make the threat they pose any less real.” The columnist, Rex Wockner, proposes that gays wear something he recently discovered, a T-shirt proclaiming, “Christianity Is Stupid. Give Up.” “If we want to save America from the fundamentalist Christians,” Wockner says, “we may have no choice but to convert them into nonbelievers .… We need to fight this at the most fundamental level—the very notion of ‘God’ .… It is the only way. We must help our nation cast off the superstitions of pre-modern peoples.” (10/6/04)
[Editor] See folks. The sodomites have NO TOLERANCE for we believers. Why then, do WE have tolerance for THEM?
First the churches tolerate, then they accommodate, then they include, and THEN they make them “shepherds of the flock. The SINNER guiding the SAINT. The WOLF guarding the SHEEP. The child of the DEVIL leading the children of GOD.
Hey Folks. GET OUT OF THERE. If this shoe fits YOUR church, GET OUT OF THERE. Women pastors, Sodomites, and Neo Evangelicalism “leaders” are leading you astray. Your churches have been infiltrated. Run like hell AWAY from hell.
RUN unto Jesus Christ and HIS WORDS. The Words of His Father. AMEN
