The news media tells of Billy Graham coming to Texas Stadium in Irving Texas and drawing large crowds.  Have you ever wondered why some “preachers” draw, and most don’t?

I have that figured out. I know why some religious figures control such huge audiences.  We can name the large crowd gatherers one by one, and they ALL are compromisers of the faith.  Every last one of them. A-L-L of them.

Are they famous?  Are they well known?  Do they draw large crowds?  Are they well thought of by the religious?  Muslims excluded of course.  Do they appears on National Television Networks?

Do they have tons of money?  Do they travel abroad regularly?  Do they offer Sea Cruises and trips to the “Holy Land” and the Mediterranean?   Are their lives ever endangered? These are all clues to look for.

Large crowds come to see a performance and “many” get saved, over and over and over again.  Hundreds.  Hundreds of thousands.

Luke 13:23-24 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Matt 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Did you get saved as a result of a Billy Graham crusade?  Did you get saved “because of” him or “in spite” of him. (Read about him on my web site)

Now you take the God Fearing Missionary.  I will.  I’ll support him too.  Well, let’s talk about him, shall we?

I know of missionaries with a “God Given” burden to do His work.  I know of missionaries in the foreign field to poor to make it back home periodically.  They suffer, and their loved ones back in the States also suffer.  Will they ever see their son or brother again?

The missionaries’ wife?  Will the parents, and brothers and sisters ever see her again? They too, have left their families to serve the living God.

Do you know what the God fearing missionary and his spouse have done?  They have done Luke 18:28

Do you know what God will do for them?  God will do Luke 18:29-30.

Do missionaries ever go out in the fields on faith?  Some of them do. Some of them, as they grow in faith (we are all to grow and kept growing in faith ‘till we die) lose their support as they make know the truth as revealed to them by the Holy Spirit as they study to show themselves approved. (2 Tim 2:15)

Well, hush my mouth you say?  I am thankful to God that these men do not hush theirs for the sake of support.  Many times the going gets tough, and when it does the weak get down on their knees and pray.  After awhile they become tough and the tough get going

2 Cor 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Matt 6:31-34 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

This is a hard saying, who can follow it?  Some can.

Now, where was I?  You wanna know why you “hardly every” hear of the “little man”? (Unpopular missionary.  One who speaks God’s Truth)

The missionary that can count his “fish” (saved souls) on one or two hands, AND disciples them, is a hard worker.  He not only sows the seed, but also tills the soil and sees to it that the seed grows.

I think all Christians that do not personally work for the Lord ought to support, in some way, those that do. This ministry does in a small way.  You got a missionary in mind? Check him out. If he is of God, help support him if he needs it.  Most need help. Can’t think of anyone.  I can.  (it’s not me folks) Write me and we’ll talk.

The churches are falling away from the faith, folks.  I know you know that. You have eyes to see and ears to hear and a mind to read, the same as I do.  Some of you are “in with” the fallen away churches and flock to the compromisers of the faith once delivered to the saints.

Maybe some of you even flock to the wolves in sheep’s clothing/heretics churches and crusades. (those that teach another gospel)  Who are these teachers/preachers?  Read my web site and my writings and you will come to the knowledge of some of them.

2 Chr 19:2 And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.

But you are sure your heart is for the Lord?

2 Chr 19:3 Nevertheless there are good things found in thee, in that thou hast taken away the groves out of the land, and hast prepared thine heart to seek God.

Therefore is wrath STILL upon thee from before the LORD.

I can say entertain this uncertainty as the apostle Paul did in his letter to the Romans.

Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, “if” so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

God knows them that are His.  If you be one of His, please help His workers.

Putting the Fun back in Fundamentalism
(excerpted from an article in the Detroit News.) [10/3/02]

Action figures were once reserved for
Luke Skywalker and G.I. Joe and such, but “religious” action figures are permeating society, and as experience shows, the “church” will not be far behind.

Just as Jars of Clay and Creed gave Christians an outlet in the rock music world, toy companies are producing religious-based figures that unite religion and pop culture.

Consumers can find Jesus action figures, a character called Bibleman, Martin Luther bobbleheads, an Armor of God playset, Stripling Warriors and God Almighty figures fitted with AK-47s.

The Pennsylvania-based Train Up a Child,, manufactures G.I. Joelike figures of predominately Old Testament characters -- all come in either light-skin or dark-skin versions. Train Up a Child offers 10 characters, including Jesus, Mary, Goliath and Solomon, among others.

The Jesus Christ Superstore has action figures that most closely resemble toys from other genres. The Store, as the managers call it, display action figures from a wide range of religions (Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Islam and Buddhism). According to the Store's Web site, www.jesuschrist, (Editor-Be careful.  This site is pretty gruesome) the action figures were part of a limited run for an exhibition. It appears the company has plans to manufacture more, but when, where and for how much is all unstated at this point, though T-shirts bearing their images are available.

The Store uses the motto: "Putting the fun back in fundamentalism.

All the figures from The Store come with weapons with the exception of Allah. ("He who may not be shown" has nothing in the package.) But Jesus comes with "Ninja-Messiah throwing nails," Buddha includes a "Magnum 66 automatic Nirvana pistol" and an "Invincible Holy Orange Cape of Enlightenment," and Krishna totes a "laser-sighted automatic 'Ganesh-garnish' S&W with silencer."

Another tough-looking bunch comes from a more serious company, Thomas Nelson, Inc. The company produces Bibleman figures from the video series by the same name. Incidentally, William Aames (of "Eight is Enough" and "Charles in Charge" fame) plays Bibleman, who is "empowered by the limitless might of God's Word ... armed with the Sword of the Spirit, the Breastplate of Righteousness and the Helmet of Salvation, this caped Christian stands ready to battle evil and reveal his supersecrets to you."

It may not be a booming industry yet, but religious action figures are slowly finding their place next to Darth Vader and G.I. Joe.

[Editor] The church will soon be into these actions figures as sure as they went into “Christian?” rock & rap, and as sure as they went into worship music and worship leaders, etc.

David and Sanan Brazzeal have a vision for a church aimed at the arts community in Montreal, Canada.  "The arts community is ... a group that evangelical Christians haven't understood and which all too often has had trouble fitting into the average church," said Brazzeal.  "We want to create a venue where artists can express themselves," Brazzeal said. "Worship is very self-expressive, and we want to allow artists to communicate what God is teaching them through their experiences. There normally isn't such a venue in a church for a painter, poet or songwriter to express themselves."  In addition, the Brazzeals see the arts as a way to reach post-moderns in general since they typically are more responsive to images, dialogue and relationships than to mere presentations of facts or principles.  The Brazzeals intend to allow the Holy Spirit to shape the church's identity and vision as he works through the creative people who participate together in its formation. (Baptist Press)

[Editor]  Don’t think for a minute that this is an isolated venture, it’s happening “everywhere”.

“…they  (church people) typically are more responsive to images, dialogue and relationships than to mere presentations of facts or principles.

Images--a synonym for image is metaphor. A metaphor is defined as “a figure of speech in which one thing is spoken of as it were another. (example; “all the worlds a stage”) to bear, or bear with
Dialogue-a synonym for dialogue is—Exchange of ideas
Relationships-- a synonym for relationships is associations and links.

Conclusion—Images, distorting the facts of the faith once delivered to the saints-Jude 1:3 and dialoguing/learning/exchanging the tenets/creeds/system of beliefs of “other faiths” and relationships of uniting “with and linking up” with those other faiths that preach “another gospel”. (2 Cor 11:4; Gal 1:6-9)

This comes down to “one word” folks. ECUMENISM.

“…mere presentations of facts or principles”.  The “mere” (meager-measly-inadequate-insufficient) Words of God; the facts (truth-evidence) and principles (values-doctrine) of the Bible are kaput. (useless-wrecked)

A federal hate crimes bill making its way through the Canadian Parliament could signal what's in store for American Christians should similar efforts succeed in the U.S.  An open homosexual and member of the Canadian Parliament is pushing to have sexual orientation added as a protected category in Canada's genocide and hate crimes legislation.  Pro-family groups in that country are raising the alarm that it could well lead to outlawing any criticism of homosexuality.  WorldNetDaily says there have already been incidents at the provincial level in Canada where people who have done just that paid a high price.  For example, a Saskatchewan man recently was fined $5,000 for buying a newspaper ad that quoted verses from the Bible condemning homosexual behavior.  In addition, two years ago in Ontario, a human rights commission leveled a $5,000 fine against a Christian businessman who refused to print letterhead for a pro-homosexual group.  In a current case in British Columbia, a teacher is facing the loss of his job for making statements critical of homosexuality -- even though he made his comments outside the classroom. (AgapePress).

[Editor]  Save your money folks, you’re gonna need it, or else the Caesar will take it out on your hide. Ouch!

It’s coming to America folks.  The writing is on the wall. Fines AND imprisonment.  This all comes down to “one word” too, folks. PERSECUTION.

ARE YOU READY? LETS ROLL, and EARNESTLY contend for the faith.-Jude 1:3

Do you wanna know what's wrong with the organized churches today? Denominations and otherwise?

These verses speak not only of the world but also of the prevalent latter day churches.

Rom 3:11-18 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.

Do you wanna know WHY there is no understanding in liberal (most of them) churches.

Ps 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.

Prov 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

There is no understanding in the churches because they  "do not" God's commandments .

There is no understanding in the churches because the knowledge of the "holy" is understanding, and the churches are full of the "unholy".

Do you know why the church is filled with the "unholy"?  The churches have failed to do THIS

Lev 10:10 And that ye may put "difference" between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;

Playing the numbers game is the result of the holy and unholy mingling in the churches today.

2 Cor 6:14-17 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

WHAT?  Are you STILL in there? WHY? For what reason?  God says GET OUT. DON'T YOU FEAR GOD? DON"T YOU LOVE HIM?

HEY-A "little" leaven leavens the "whole" lump. ONE rotten apple in a barrel of good apples "ruins" the WHOLE BARREL.  No way will the good apples renew the rotten apple, although they are many.

Heb 10:28-31 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Most Churches today are not the CHURCH, and the few that are, are falling into the "last days apostasy" really fast. (2 Thess 2:2-3)  Most churches of today are plumb full of unbelievers from the pew to the pulpit.

The church building is full of those who don't BELIEVE GOD because they don't FEAR GOD.

Matt 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

That still puts chills down my spine.  It was the FEAR of God that got me saved back in 1991.  Later that FEAR turned into LOVE as I grew in faith and learned more if what all He did for me, and why. (John 3:16)

So-What Now.
2 Cor 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Eph 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

Eccl 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
